Mid-Week Update...Math HW due Friday instead of Thursday!

We did not get to the Lesson 11 that was originally planned for Wednesday, so students may be confused by the Wednesday math homework. We will cover this material more tomorrow in class and students will have more time to ask questions. Because we did not get to Lesson 11 in class, I am extending the date for math homework to be due until Friday.

We spent our math time this morning clarifying math concepts relating to addition and subtraction of decimal numbers. Students worked with partners to practice subtraction of decimal numbers.

In science class we kicked off our plant classification unit with students developing their own systems of classification based on observed traits.

Today the students were very excited to meet our class pet, Nancy.
