This week we are shifting our focus in math from adding/subtracting with decimal numbers to multiplying and dividing decimal numbers by single digit whole numbers. The homework is attached for this week and is due Thursday.

In science we are continuing with our inquiry into plant classification. We began an observational investigation involving celery and moss. Ask your 5th grader to identify which is and example of a nonvascular plant and how they know.
