Instructional Updates:
This week we are kicking our Term 3 and our new Unit of Inquiry: Where We Are in Time and Place. Our central idea for this term is: Innovation and migration are key factors in shaping our world. Students will explore: 1) motivations for movement, 2) experiences of migrants and immigrants and 3) impact of innovations.
We had a wonderful trip to the Atlanta History Center yesterday. The students really enjoyed the experience and were able to make connections with our Civil War unit as well as our UOI: Who We Are.
