Instructional Updates:
In math this week students are working in teams to solve challenging multi-step problems. This task will provide an opportunity to reassess skills students have learned this year. The homework this week focuses on multi-step problem solving. The students do have several tasks that they should share with their families to encourage discussion opportunities at home. There are no videos this week as there was no new lesson being taught. Students should work through the problems to the best of their ability.
In science we are taking part of our week to physically (drawing) and chemically (tye-dye) change our T-shirts for field day.
For Exhibition the focus of the week is writing a central idea and the lines of inquiry. Each student identifies concepts that their topic addresses and worked with their group to write one main idea they would like to convey to their audience.
