Instructional Updates:
Last week we explore more with physical changes in matter. Students conducted investigations into various ways to separate mixtures, solutions and suspensions. We will extend our exploration into changes in matter to include chemical changes as well this week.
Last week in math we had a mid-module assessment for multiplying fractions. We will continue to apply these understandings to problem solving, decimal multiplication and division of fractions and whole numbers this week. Ask students to share how their Monday math centers related to our UOI: How We Express Ourselves.
