This week is another busy week.
10/13: Mid-Module math assessment
10/15: Field Trip to the Symphony
*Due to the assessment, study guide work and field trip students, will not have anymore math homework this week. Their study guide should be turned in complete Tuesday. We went over answers in class today and discussed how to answer the "explain" portions as well as suggestions for extensions.
This week is also Spirit Week:
Tuesday: Pajama Day
Wednesday: Space/Martian/Robot Day
Thursday: Glamor Dress Up Day
Friday: F.AVE Spirit Wear (or DHS Bulldogs)
Last week students continued their exploration into cells by making delicious edible cells. They had to identify the various organelles and their functions and represent those organelles with edible items. Once the students successfully completed their cell model and explained the functions of the organelles, they were able to enjoy their models.
