Week of 8/10....Homework, Notes, and Other News....

We are continuing to explore decimal concepts in math. Students will have math homework this week. A hardcopy is being sent home today, however I'm also attaching a link to this week's homework. I will continue to do this throughout term 1 to ensure students can access the homework at home. Homework is practice and review of concepts we have already covered in class and is due on Thursday.

Math Homework 8.10.15

In science class we are continuing to explore how processes and procedures help us create order in our world. Today we asked the question "Is it Living?" and learned the 7 characteristics all living things have in common. We will expand upon this understanding to explore how scientists classify living things throughout term 1.

Our first week was full of opportunities for team building, class discussion and practicing new processes and procedures for the Black/McFaddin Flex Team. We are off to a strong start! Please remember to look through the communication folders that come home today and return any necessary forms. We are still waiting on few iPad agreement forms before iPads can be distributed.
